Benefits of Bathroom Tiling

It’s a misconception that tiles are completely waterproof. Some types of tiles are considered “as good as waterproof” but they are not completely waterproof.

The words ‘porcelain’ and ‘ceramic’ are usually used interchangeably, but actually they’re quite different and are more like cousins than twins. The main difference is that porcelain tiles absorb less water than other types of tile.

You can clean bathroom tiles the same way as any other tiles, either with hot, soapy water or a specialist tile cleaner. You can also use anti-bacterial liquid and depending on the type, bleach.

Wet Areas

We can help to waterproof your wet area with tanking or by using a suitable membrane prior to tiling.
